All of our home games are played at Alpine Ice Arena in Louisville, KY. Away games are played in the city of the team hosting the tournament or games.
Top - How much travel is involved?
Travel varies based on the season schedule but expect to go out of town for 2 day tournaments at least 4 or 5 times per season. Games are on Saturdays and Sundays and generally involve overnight stays due to distance involved. So far, Springfield, Il is the longest trip we have made. Travel is a wonderful bonding experience for the girls and families. We have alot of fun!

Checking is using the hip (also known as hip checking) or shoulder to knock an opponent against the boards or to the ice. This is often referred to as simply checking or hitting and is only permitted on an opponent with possession of the puck. Checking is not permitted in girls hockey however inadvertant hits do occur from time to time. Players caught checking will be issued penalties.
